I started today off with my usual routine: checking space on the servers, resetting 212, verifying that the actual vs. forecast reports are propegating, etc. Victor had me set up the projector and projection screen for a meeting that is held monthly at stony creek. The meeting is about 2 hours in length, and more than half of the company attends.
Today was a pretty slow day, just due to the inactivity in IT with all of the moves that have been going on. Once things start getting finished up on the moves, there are a number of IT projects that we can start working on and putting into process.
I feel like I'm pretty comfortable with my daily tasks at this point, and feel pretty settled in here at Stony Creek. I'm excited for some of the things that we'll be working on in the near future, and hope to bring some things to the table when and where possible.

Friday Feb 3rd
Friday was a relatively eventful day at Stony Creek. I helped set up the new mailbox area in the admin section of the building, and printed out new labels for all of the employee mailboxes. We had some trouble printing out the labels initially, because the printer options didn't recognize that the printer didn't have a custom-feed tray. Once we figured out the printer options, we were good to go.
Also on Friday, I created some Jing videos for setting up meeting appointments in Outlook and also for resetting the email server 212. The meeting appointments video was uploaded to the intranet, and I sent the email reset video to victor via email, because we weren't sure if it was safe to post to the intranet without creating the proper permissions first.
The admin moves seem to be coming along nicely, and slowly but surely the new stations are being set up.
